Two projects, run over 4.5 weeks each, are integrated into the MBA program. These are real world learning experiences where you work as part of an MBA consulting team on real business issues.
Teams of 5 or 6 MBA participants are supported by an IMD Faculty member with extensive consulting or line management experience. You will work with a company-appointed project leader and senior manager (in many cases the CEO or President) to offer inspiring new ideas and develop practical strategy recommendations and concrete implementation plans.
Travel to international destinations is often required: since IMD started the ICPs in 1980, we have completed over 470 projects for 330+ companies in 65 countries across 5 continents.

ICP 1 project examples
Strategy and growth projects deal with issues such as: Whether to enter a new geographic market? How to develop a launch plan for a new product? How to position in a new market segment? What are potential acquisition targets?
ICP 2 project examples
Organization and change projects deal with issues such as: How to improve sales force effectiveness? How to reorganize to reduce costs? How to improve processes across divisions? How to integrate an acquisition?
