The five application deadlines
After each deadline, the IMD MBA admissions committee performs an initial evaluation of all the complete applications. Within 6 weeks, we inform you if we would like to meet you for the on-campus assessment day.

- August 1
- September 1
Choosing a deadline
While you can choose any of our application deadlines, we encourage you to apply as early as possible.
- Apply for the February 1st or April 1st deadline to have the option of being interviewed in Singapore.
- Apply by the August 1st deadline to have the option of being interviewed in Sao Paulo.
- Citizens of countries requiring a longer visa process should apply for one of the first four deadlines.
Asian / Latin America interview dates
These interviews are similar to the Lausanne assessment center, but class observation and the MBA lunch are replaced with alumni interaction.
- Singapore: tbc May, 2012
- Sao Paulo: tbc September, 2012
Getting a visa
Nationals of all non-European Community countries will need a 'Visa of Entry for Studies' in order to enter Switzerland. Each participant is responsible for obtaining the visa, however IMD will provide all necessary paperwork required by your country of origin and will liaise with government officials as required.
