Overview
You'll learn in every imaginable way during the Executive MBA program. While at IMD, the classroom will be the hub of your learning, but the variety of learning experiences in and around that hub will ensure that you're always stimulated and challenged to look at things in new ways and to open your mind to different ideas. The classroom experience is centred around case studies, where you'll debate and discuss real business issues and look for real solutions. But that's just the starting point for the action-oriented approach to learning that you'll experience at IMD.

Developing high performance leadership
It takes strong determined leaders to develop great insights, make tough choices, create a clear focus and align their organizations. You'll learn the power behind the authentic 'inner-self'. Drawing on processes used by world-class athletes and highly successful leaders, you'll learn how to respond to challenges with greater inner resources, less stress and increased impact.

Intense participation, role plays, group interaction and personal coaching will bring leadership issues to life.

Based on a personal assessment, you'll set your own near-term leadership goals, and work with a small group of classmates - your leadership sounding board - to make sure you achieve these goals and evolve your leadership.

Achieving mastery
The objective of the IMD Executive MBA is for executives to achieve a level of mastery on three dimensions. At the company level, participants conduct several projects to apply concepts to the realities of their particular firm, gaining a holistic view of business problems, understanding them separately and in combination. At the individual level, participants further their journey of self-discovery and skill building, becoming more capable leaders. At the global level, building on their Discovery Expeditions to diverse parts of the world, participants gain expertize about the world around us.
