GMAT information

The GMAT, or Graduate Management Admission Test, measures language, quantitative and writing skills. It is designed to help predict academic performance in graduate management school. The test is administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council. You can schedule your test in most countries by telephone, fax or mail. There is comprehensive information, including preparatory courses for the test, available on the Internet at http://www.mba.com.

What is the minimum acceptable GMAT score for admission?
When assessing the GMAT score, we take into account the background of the applicant. Because of the enormous diversity in the class, we expect variation in GMAT scores, and never view the GMAT in isolation. It is one of many criteria we use to assess applicants: a high GMAT score does not guarantee admission, and a low score does not necessarily eliminate an applicant.

For how long is the GMAT score valid?
If your GMAT is from anytime within the past eight years, it is still valid for use with your application to the IMD Executive MBA program. Ask GMAT to send an official score to IMD Executive MBA.

IMD GMAT report code
The IMD Executive MBA GMAT report code is SKR-MM-35. Please be sure to indicate IMD as an automatic recipient of your official GMAT score report.

All applicants are required to submit an original GMAT score. Photocopies are not accepted.
