OWP Special
JULY 2012
REAL LEARNING@IMD
Dear Reader,

Volatile. Just scan the headlines. There’s no better word to describe the current business environment. But volatile can have a positive side. Speaking at IMD’s 2012 Orchestrating Winning Performance (OWP) program, the Economist’s Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait expressed a “paranoid optimism” about the world we live in.

The OWP program recently brought together more than 500 business leaders to explore a variety of topics, from World Competitiveness to Feeling Good about Making Money. In addition, OWP provided an opportunity for leaders to open their minds to new technologies and to be inspired knowing that, as Jetman Yves Rossy showed, the sky is the limit.

Please enjoy the highlights below from this year’s OWP program. And, mark your calendars for 2013 as IMD prepares for two editions of OWP! In addition to the traditional June program from June 23 -28 in Lausanne, we are pleased to introduce OWP Singapore to take place November 18 -22, 2013. More details to come.
Best regards,

The IMD Webletter Team
