IMD is saddened by the loss of Bo Olsson, MBA 1993

Valued member of the IMD community passes away
April 2017

IMD regrets to announce the passing away of Bo Olsson who graduated from the school in 1993 with an MBA and who kept close ties to IMD over the years.

Fellow classmate Alan Kallir had this to say:

“It is very sad. Bo was a very good friend to me and a good man. He was always good intentioned and the glue that bound our MBA class together, which we all profited from. And we continue to profit from his willingness to sacrifice personally to organize and lead celebrations and activities. Bo was also the organizer in chief for our class both during the year and after: I’m thinking of course if the Scandinavian Party and the IMD MBA ski weeks that continued for a decade after graduation. I was lucky enough to attend nine out of ten of them.

“He held us together when we thought we were going to fail.

“We are all worse off for the loss. His passing should give us cause to reflect.”

IMD sends its sincere condolences and sympathy to Bo’s Family.
