We are pleased to announce that Lise Moeller is the new Family Business Relationship Manager at IMD’s Family Business Center.

Lise, who originates from Aarhus, Denmark, was formally Deputy Director and Communications and Conference Manager for FBN (The Family Business Network).

Speaking about the world of family business relations and education Lise said: "The world of family owned businesses is a mysterious one and not many people realize that only between 15 and 17% of family businesses “survive” to 3rd generation and yet global GDP produced by family owned businesses is between 40 and 50%! Surviving as far as to 3rd generation is tough, but just remember, the world’s oldest family business has reached its 46th generation.

"At IMD, educating a family business encompasses not only teaching, but also something much less tangible and more profound, which has been built over 20 years: the imparting of knowledge, good judgment and wisdom.
