Fondation Vaudoise pour la Formation Bancaire and Association Vaudoise des Banques announce IMD MBA Prize winner for 2014
The Fondation Vaudoise pour la Formation Bancaire (FVFB), the Association Vaudoise des Banques (AVB) and IMD have the pleasure to award the first IMD MBA prize to Anurag Khilnani from the Class of 2014.
The FVFB/AVB prize, established in 2014, will be awarded to one IMD MBA student a year over the next five years. The winner is selected by the IMD Faculty based on his or her contribution in the classroom, openness of attitude, capacity for overcoming obstacles, contribution to teamwork and development over the year. It is awarded to a student from outside western Europe or North America.
Before starting his IMD MBA, Khilnani, who is Indian, worked in India as co-founder of Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools, as a strategy consultant for the All India Football Federation, and as manager and analyst with Morgan Stanley.
On receiving the prize, he said, "I am honored to receive this prize and grateful to IMD and the Fondation for having found me worthy. I share this prize in spirit with each of my remarkable classmates and would like to thank them and the IMD Faculty for the privilege of learning from them throughout the program. This will be one of the memorable moments that I cherish years from now when I look back at the MBA."
Dominique Fasel, President of the FVFB, said, "We are pleased to launch this new prize in collaboration with IMD. The mission of the FVFB is to contribute to education and research in banking and finance. Awarding this prize to an IMD MBA student builds an important link between FVFB and IMD, which are both based in the Canton of Vaud, and other parts of the world."
