Our participants

Leading for Business Impact is designed for senior business executives with significant responsibilities who must ensure their organization's success today and in the future. Coming from a variety of industries, functional backgrounds, countries and cultures, participants generally have more than ten years of management experience and typically are either managers of managers or leading large and complex teams. Most participants have responsibilities across multiple countries or, if their scope of responsibility lies within one country, are typically responsible for multiple activities. Most also have important interactions with stakeholders outside the company, such as customers, suppliers, strategic partners, regulators, government officials, communities, non-government organizations and/or shareholders. Leading for Business Impact has a strong business focus and is not well suited for people working in governmental or non-governmental organizations.

Grounded in real-world experience - yours and others

The first half of Leading for Business Impact focuses on how you as a leader can achieve better results today, while the second half looks at how you can analyze and build the needed capabilities for tomorrow.

The program draws on the experience of others through, for example, case studies, role plays, videos and executive dialogues. Practical tools are used to help you extract key principles from these experiences and apply them to your leadership situation. By adding your own experiences to the learning process, you will gain insights and solutions to your current personal leadership challenges as well as extrapolate to principles that you can apply in the future.

Business Leadership Coaching

During the program, you will benefit from personalized coaching on your business leadership competencies in a global context. Related input from your manager, peers and yourself will be collected ahead of the program and will serve as a basis for a Personal Leadership Development Action Plan, which you will prepare with the support of your coach and fellow participants during the program. Included in the program offering, you will have access to a personal follow-up coaching session after the program to ensure successful follow through with the goals you set for yourself.
