The DBT Center, based in Lausanne, includes office space for reseachers as well as a “business innovation lab” showcasing leading-edge capabilities and providing a venue for co-innovation with customers. Research focuses on digital disruption, competitive change, business model innovation, and transformation-oriented themes involving people, process, and technology change. Executives come to the DBT Center to grapple with and innovate around their most pressing business challenges.
The DBT Center is led by the Cisco-sponsored Chair of Digital Business Transformation, Professor Michael Wade, who serves as its Director. Kevin Bandy, Cisco's Chief Digitization Officer, is Cisco’s executive sponsor. Thierry Maupile, Cisco VP, Strategic Ecosystem Group and an IMD Executive in Residence, was instrumental in establishing the DBT Center and serves a key advisory role.
