This “by invitation only” action-learning event has been designed for the top learning function teams of member organizations in the IMD Corporate Learning Network.
In groups of 2-5 members from each organization (head of corporate learning or CLO and his/her direct reports), participants will learn about our current research which is based on the analyses of the results of the CLIP accreditation process of corporate universities spearheaded by the European Foundation for Management Development.
We will outline the key strategic and operational options key decision makers have in setting-up or restructuring their corporate learning function in areas such as scope, governance, reporting relationships, structural positioning, technology, and staffing.
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the situation in their own organizations and incorporate the insights from our research into their action plans through discussions within their home-teams and across the participant body.
Another piece of research which will be shared will be focused on the profile and the career path of the corporate learning head. Input about the current employment trends and market value of learning experts will be provided by a top head-hunter focusing globally on this functional area.
