|IMD Discovery Event November 29-30|
|Topic||Complexity Drivers and Simplifiers in Global Organizations|
|Date||November 29-30, 2007|
|Details||Conventional wisdom demands that an organisation be as complex as its Business Environment. However, leaders in global organisations know that this is a "mission impossible". The organisation would probably suffocate under the impossibility of managing such a high degree of complexity. Yet, to ignore complexity is not an viable option either. In this Discovery Event, Professors Steger and colleagues will offer a clear understanding of complexity drivers as well as potential simplifiers to find the right balance between Business Environment complexity and the demand to keep an organisation manageable. Drawing upon on IMD`s research, participants will learn to identify complexity drivers and simplifiers and prioritize the applications.|
The event takes place at IMD in Lausanne (Switzerland)
IMD hosts a series of one and a half day discovery events throughout the year on the IMD campus. These events give you the chance to discuss IMD’s latest research with executives from all over the world.
Discovery events are open to executives from Learning Network member companies.
Registration for events is on a first come, first served basis. IMD does its utmost to accommodate all Learning Network members and retains the right to refuse, or to place on a waiting list "multiple" registrations coming from the same company.
