|Developing Effective Leadership: Learning from Experience|
IMD has the pleasure to invite you to a luncheon on the topic of developing effective leadership on November 30, 2011.
A selected group of people is invited to attend the session that will be lead by Ben Bryant, the current Program Director for IMD's Mobilizing People program as well as one of the key contributors to IMD's summer executive program OWP. The host of the event will be Horten law firm.
Acts of leadership involve taking risks, be it a financial risk, a relationship risk or other kind of risks. As with all risks, we don't know exactly what will happen. Every situation is different, so there is no toolbox or formula to follow. Experience helps us understand consequences of our actions, so it would seem that learning from experience is very important. But do we learn as much from our experiences as we could?
In this interactive session, Professor Ben Bryant will challenge the way we "learn effective leadership." We will also hear local perspectives on the connection between attracting, developing and retaining high performing leaders.
