Who Wins in Tough Times … and Beyond: The Growing Challenge of Low Cost Competitors. In recent years premium brands, have been facing increasing competition from low cost rivals. This has intensified in the past year or so and the challenge will not disappear when good times return. We will focus on the nature of the low cost challenge and why the challenge seems to be accelerating in many industries, and why aggressive low cost competition is the new reality in many industries. The session will be led by IMD Professor of Marketing and Strategy Adrian Ryans. And our keynote speaker Mr. Jose Carlos Olcese Santonja, Executive Vice Chairman of Telepizza S.A. He will share with us his experience in keeping a premium brand like Telepizza at the top of the industry ranking.
