|Secure Base Leadership|
IMD and the IMD Alumni Club in Mexico are pleased to invite you to a Business Forum in Mexico on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Nestlé's (Mexico) facilities.
"Unleashing the Astonishing Potential of People and Organizations through Secure Base Leadership."
Leaders play a key role in developing the maximum potential of individuals and teams when they offer people both comfort and challenge to their collaborators. These two dimensions of “secure base” – safety and risk- are the key ingredients on the road to high performance leadership. Secure base leaders invest time and energy in learning what motivates their people and in providing them with enough comfort to seek challenges and opportunities.
Join us at this forum as IMD Professor of Global Leadership and Sustainability, Francisco Szekely, will discuss the role of the leader as Secure Base and will address some specific questions such as: How much should a leader care for his/her people? How should the leader express that caring? And how can secure base leaders promote that their collaborators dare to explore new challenges and initiatives?
