Managing the Value of the Olympic Brand

During the 2005-2008 period Olympic marketing generated $5.4 billion in revenue, 90% of which is distributed to organisations throughout the Olympic Movement, in order to support the staging of the Olympic Games and to promote the worldwide development of sport. This presentation will demonstrate how the IOC manages its brand as an intangible commercial asset in order to generate, enable and grow long-term revenue streams for the Olympic Movement.
