IMD’s MBA program has been ranked second by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) in its annual worldwide survey of international recruiters. The top five schools are:

1. ESADE (Spain)

2. IMD

3. London Business School

4. IPADE (Mexico)

5. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan)

"Our consistent performance over the years at the top of the WSJ ranking is excellent news," says Professor Benoît Leleux, MBA Program Director. "It reflects the quality of our participants and our program as perceived by recruiters, and it reinforces and enhances the reputation of the IMD MBA program. According to recruiters, IMD participants are admired for their “international exposure”, “rich experience”, and “leadership potential”. In addition, we are ranked 7th in the world for international business and 8th for general management (as measured by total nominations across all recruiters).

Katty Ooms Suter, Director of Admissions and Career Services, says “Recruiters keep coming back to IMD to get global talent for their company. This year 65 companies participated in our on-campus recruiting. Our experienced and carefully selected participants received the highest starting salaries of any school in the WSJ ranking.”

“We strongly feel that the small size of the IMD MBA program is crucial to remain “one of the world's most distinctive schools,” said Leleux.
