Text

For the third year in a row, IMD is ranked 2nd in the world, and 1st among European business schools for the overall quality of programs in the 2006 Financial Times survey of global non-degree executive education providers.

In addition, IMD is once again Number 2 among world-wide providers of custom executive programs. IMD also ranks among the top 10 providers of open enrollment programs.

The Financial Times rankings are based on surveys of organizations and individuals from around the world who rated leading executive education providers for their quality and impact.

Among the institutions rated in the FT survey are mostly business schools, such as Harvard, Duke, Stanford, London Business School, IESE and INSEAD. The scores on which the rankings are based make IMD one of two schools that are “so far ahead of the rest of the field that it would take giant leaps in its scores for any other school to catch up” (FT.com, 15 May 2006).

Gordon Adler, IMD Director of PR and Communications says, “IMD’s top rankings validate its efforts to bring, in a highly competitive market, the very best executive development and acknowledges its mission: practical focus on learning-based thought leadership, at the Global Meeting Place where executives from all over the world learn side-by-side, and as part of IMD’s learning network.”
