What is the purpose of the survey?
The “Fast Track Leadership Survey” was conceived in December 2004 as a vehicle to provide insight into the unique characteristics that 21st century business leaders require to be successful.

When was the survey first introduced?
In the June 2005 issue of Fast Company magazine.

What is the frequency of the survey?
Quarterly.

What topics will the survey cover each quarter?
During 2005-2006, the “Fast Track Leadership Survey” will focus exclusively on business leadership as it relates to Design (June 2005), Leadership (Sept. 2005), Creativity & Innovation (Dec. 2005) and Competitive Strategy (Feb. 2006), respectively. Survey results will be published in corresponding issues of Fast Company magazine and on its website at www.fastcompany.com

What is the survey methodology?
The online survey is sent to Fast Company subscribers, www.fastcompany.com visitors, IMD MBA alumni and prospective applicants in the US and abroad, and subscribers to Egon Zehnder International’s Club of Leaders in the US and abroad. Survey respondents answer a series of quantitative and qualitative questions.
