In December 2004, Fast Company magazine, the IMD MBA and Egon Zehnder International – three of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to leadership development – joined together to create the “Fast Track Leadership Survey” to provide insight on issues affecting business leadership in the US and abroad.

The “Fast Track Leadership Survey” is conducted online on a quarterly basis. The survey consists of quantitative and qualitative questions on topics that directly coincide with select Fast Company cover stories that report on the challenges facing business leaders as they relate to Design (June 2005 issue), Leadership (Sept. 2005 issue), Creativity & Innovation (Dec. 2005 issue) and Competitive Strategy (Feb. 2006 issue).
