The Job's Mission

The Corporate Learning Network’s (CLN) Learning Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of CLN services within specific CLN member organisations.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, he/she is to ensure that CLN services are properly aligned with members’ specific requirements, that CLN services are successfully marketed within the member organisation and that members successfully and regularly use the CLN services.

The Position
  • Build visibility and traction of CLN services throughout member organisations
  • Analyze members’ needs in line with business and learning objectives and corporate culture
  • Define and deliver measurable results, according to members’ learning targets
  • Analyze CLN services usage: identify patterns, understand obstacles, roll out solutions
  • Participate in the design and the execution of members’ learning journey
  • Liaise with appropriate stakeholders across IMD to ensure a holistic approach
  • Assume regular interaction with CLN key contacts in member organisations at a senior level
  • Undertake regular interaction with CLN users and prospective users in member organisations
  • Propose regular presentations of CLN services
  • Initiate and sustain a streamlined follow-up of CRM system
  • Propose and develop ideas and tools to support members’ usage and follow-up
  • Liaise with internal and external suppliers regarding to virtual learning delivery mechanisms
  • Manage and regularly update companies’ specific platforms
  • Work extensively with social media tools to build online communities
  • Provide customised material for individual member organisations, as appropriate
  • Build a competitive analysis of CLN offerings to ensure CLN services are cutting edge
The Ideal Person
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • MBA is an advantage
  • Fluent written and oral English
  • Managing customer relations at a senior level
  • Learning design/development/delivery
  • Social media and virtual learning
  • Project Management
  • Sales and negotiation experience is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of the learning and development arena
  • Solid understanding of a range of businesses and industries
  • Ability to market, promote and ‘sell’ learning opportunities
  • Strong customer focus and can do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Highly flexible to cater to evolving internal and external demands
  • Capacity to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines
  • Independent with initiative and drive to see projects through to a successful conclusion
  • Strong customer relationship and project management skills
  • Excellent personal organisation
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously
