| Position Summary | The Alumni & Fundraising Director (AFD) is a key contributor to sustain the development of IMD in the next decade. His or her mission is strongly linked to building the IMD brand and generating revenues through the potential of its 75,000-member Alumni community. The AFD will be responsible for an important IMD community.
The mission of the AFD is to actively and concretely support the development of IMD by effectively leading the 45 Alumni Clubs around the globe. The secondary focus is to put in place a fund raising strategy commensurate with IMD's strategy. This will be nurtured by the experience gained when strengthening the Alumni community and by adapting international best practices of the profession to the IMD spirit. Consequently, the Fund Raising strategy will materialize only in the medium term. This time frame takes into consideration the effort to have it properly integrated into the IMD culture, values and global strategy in order to make it meaningful in the long run.
